Axen and ALTEN Benelux join strengths to create ALTEN Belgium
ALTEN, the European leader in Engineering and Technology Consulting, embarks on a mission to harmonize and simplify its brands on the Belgian market.
The 2 companies which are part of the ALTEN group and are active in Belgium, will be merged into a single entity, ALTEN Belgium.
Axen, specializing in Information Systems, will become the ALTEN IT Solutions division within ALTEN Belgium. It will join strengths with ALTEN Benelux, its sister company specializing in Advanced Technology and Engineering, which will become the ALTEN Technology division of ALTEN Belgium.
Gradually, the websites of the two companies of the ALTEN group will evolve towards a common platform. This consolidation of Internet sites will appear mid-summer 2010. ALTEN Benelux will undergo no changes until this time.
What is our objective? To make our broad competencies evident on the Belgian market and to provide an offering that covers the entire spectrum of IT services, Advanced Technology and Engineering.
I am an Axen customer: what does this change mean for me?
On the 31st of March 2010, the brand name Axen will disappear and will be replaced by ALTEN Belgium. The purpose of this new name is to reflect greater integration of Axen’s specialties within the ALTEN group globally and to offer our customers access to the whole range of services and know-how of the Group.
The staff, the core competencies and the areas of activity of Axen will remain unchanged. ALTEN Belgium, will continue to provide the Axen services of IT Solutions in Belgium and will be positioned strongly in the areas of Project Management, System Integration technologies and Telecommunications.
Moreover, the consultants and the contact persons with whom our clients are used to dealing with will remain the same.
One web site for two branches?
The consolidation of IT activities (the specialization of Axen) and Advanced Technology and Engineering (the core business of ALTEN Benelux) in a common website illustrates their complementarities and promotes their synergies for the benefit of the customer.
It is by developing tools for cooperation and by facilitating exchange within the ALTEN group, that we will be able to respond effectively
to new challenges on the Belgian market, and provide an even more effective service by aiding our businesses to strengthen each other on their respective markets.
