Responsabilities:

-      Configuring and distributing customer specific solutions of high level quality

-      Monitoring and maintaining the LINUX and/or UNIX servers (HP/ AIX/ Solaris)

-      Performing routine LINUX and/or UNIX admin tasks

-      Incident management (troubleshooting)

o   Problem management

o   Availability management

o   Change management

o   Configuration management

-      Ensuring the integrity and accessibility of the databases & applications

-      Performing system failure analysis and recovery

-      Insuring the consistency and integrity of file systems

-      Ensuring hardware/software configuration and management

-      Deploying and upgrading and LINUX or/and UNIX systems

-      Creating and managing accounts

-      Identifying and solving security-related issues

Required skills:

-      Experience in supporting & engineering LINUX and/or UNIX systems running:

o Debian v3 and higher, RedHat LINUX Enterprise 5 and higher

o and/ or Sun Solaris 8 and higher

o and/ or HP/UX 11iv1 and higher

o and/ or AIX versions V6.1 and higher (and V7.1)

-      Good knowledge and practice of shell scripting

-      Operational experience with a Storage Area Network (SAN)

-      At least 5 years of experience in IT

-      Good understanding of ITIL

-      Knowledge of Apache, Tomcat, Tivoli, Virtualization (VMWare, PowerVM)

-      Knowledge of Firewall, VPN & IPSec

-      Operational experience with Enterprise Systems (SF25K, M8/9000, HP Superdome)

-      Integrated in a Storage Area Network (SAN) is an asset

-      Knowledge of common networking & security protocols, DNS

-      Some programming experience (e.g.: C++, Java, Korn shell, scripting)

Required profile:

-          Master’s degree in Business or Management

-          You are fluent in English and Dutch or French

-          You have already experience in applicable field

-          You have excellent time-organization skills

-          You are a team player, a quick learner and communicative

-          You feel good with proactivity and working under tight deadlines
