Recruitment Process Print E-mail

At ALTEN Belgium we know that our employees are our greatest asset in enforcing our company’s position on the market. To make sure that we find the best match between our employees and our company, we have set up a robust recruitment process that is aimed at identifying the added value you can bring, the expectations you have and the opportunities we can offer you.  Throughout the whole recruitment process, we commit ourselves to quality, objectivity and feedback.

As a consultant, the added value you bring to the customer depends on more than just technical skills. That is why at ALTEN, apart from technical skills, we look for dynamic, proactive and adaptable people, with good communication skills and potential to grow.

At the start of the process a recruitment officer will receive your application, screen it carefully and contact you for a 1st pre-interview. The aim is to get to know you, understand what you expect and how you want to evolve, and to introduce ourselves and explain the way we work.  You will get the chance to ask all your questions regarding the job, the company and your career possibilities.

A business manager will then invite you for a face-to-face interview. He or she will explain in more detail the requirements  of the job and the possibilities we can offer. You will have a clearer picture of our organization, our running projects and the career evolution within ALTEN Belgium.

As a third step, you might be invited for a technical interview:  this is an opportunity to evaluate the match between your technical/ functional skills and the project responsibilities.

Now you will be invited for a meeting with our managing director or one of our senior business managers for the last step of the recruitment process. He or she can tell you more about the team, the strategy and the goals. Based on the feedback from the 1st and 2nd interview, he or she can explain how we envision the long term collaboration, sketch out a career path and discuss training opportunities.

During the entire recruitment process, we will be available to answer your questions and give additional information.

We are continuously trying to improve our recruitment process, so we are always interested to hear your feedback.
