Context
Nowadays in Europe, several Automatic Train Control (ATC) systems are being used. Each country has its own ATC and sometimes there is more than one ATC per country. To enable fast transition between countries, a European system called ETCS has been created.
As a railway company, the “Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois” (CFL) has decided to equip its trains with the ETCS system provided by our client.
In this context, the aim of the project is to equip existing locomotives with the ETCS system.
