Context

 

The main aim of the project is a wide Business Intelligence knowledge transfer, particularly about  best practices related to new data warehouse setup and load.

The 5 project members didn’t have enough background regarding the Business Intelligence processes and methodologies:   

  • Many manual tasks
  • Poor data quality
  • Users’ queries response time too long

 

 

 

ALTEN's achievements

 


The following tasks were performed:

  • Audit of the old Business Intelligence system and identification of  the action points to rebuild a new efficient data warehouse.
  • Proposal of new data warehouse architecture  and standard methodologies.
  • Set up training courses for project members (architecture, dimensional data modeling, PL/SQL, BO Designer).
  • Coaching the project team on 2 sub-projects.
