Context
The platform for virtualized desktop environment is designed for providing end users with maximum mobility, standardization and flexibility, while it offers the Bank an easier maintenance, enhanced security, improved software licenses control and lower Total Cost of Ownership.
The purpose of the initial rollout phase was to migrate a subset of the user base while documenting and enhancing the transition process. This optimized process was then repeated at a larger scale on several departments in parallel.
The focus was set on a minimal disruption to the users’ day to day activities and an optimal spread of the work queues of the rollout team.
