Context

Reconnaissance vehicles – army vehicles used for detection and exploration missions – are equipped with a communication node. This component is integrated in the vehicle’s complex architecture. The main objective of this project is to design the architecture, create the prototype, develop  and qualify (IVVQ process) a new multimedia communication node system that meets both the customer’s needs and the vehicle development planning constraints.

ALTEN's achievements

The following tasks were performed:

Architecture and prototypes:

  • Propose technical solution.
  • Proof of feasibility.
  • Choose and specify the technical solution.

IVVQ Organisation

  • Prepare qualification process.
  • Define the level of tests.
  • Schedule and follow the qualification process.

ALTEN's Added value

  • Multi customer experience.
  • Pragmatism.
