Context

In the liberalized utilities market, as laid down by the regulations issued by the European Commission and Belgian regulatory instances, Distribution Grid Operators (DGOs) have worked out a ‘Utility Market Implementation Guide (UMIG)’.

The main aim of this document is to describe and organize the information exchange between DGOs and other market players (mainly Suppliers) in the liberalized electricity and gas markets.
