Context
Natural gas pipelines are constructed to expand the national and international gas transportation grid as well as for the provision of large users. The gas pipeline grid is located underground and passes through private property (forests and farming land).
During the construction of new pipelines on private property, it is important to minimize the impact of the works on land owners, during the execution as well as after project termination.
The task of the ALTEN consultant for this project was to coordinate the civil works. This mainly consisted of controlling the execution methods, managing the special demands stated by the land owners and assuring follow-up for each phase.
