The sterile closed vial is a new concept in the pharmaceutical world. It avoids any exposure to contamination and spares the complex and costly washing - sterilizing process.
To handle this new vial, a range of machines needs to be developed in keeping with the very strict requirements of a pharmaceutical environment.
