Experienced Recruiter & Coordinator Life Sciences

ALTEN is a key reference partner in Engineering, Life Sciences & IT consulting, supported by a young, dynamic and highly qualified team.

 

To sustain our strong growth, we are looking for an Experienced Recruiter & Coordinator to take the lead of our Life Sciences Talent Acquisition team in Belgium.

 

You will be both a Senior recruiter and the Leader of a team of 4 recruiters.

Your role combines hands-on talent acquisition with team leadership.

 

1. Talent Acquisition (operational recruitment – ~60%)

 

  • Identify recruitment needs and priorities together with Business Managers
  • Source high-potential candidates (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, network…)
  • Conduct pre-qualifications & full interviews
  • Drive the end-to-end recruitment process, from first contact to contract signature
  • Act as a talent advisor to the Life Sciences unit

 

2. Team Leadership (people & activity management – ~40%)

 

  • Lead, coach and energize a team of 4 recruiters based in Brussels
  • Organize workload, priorities and planning to meet ambitious hiring targets
  • Support the daily activities of local entities (BE perimeter)
  • Ensure clear reporting, KPIs follow-up and continuous improvement
  • Act as the bridge between recruitment and business stakeholders

 

YOUR PROFILE

 

  • Native French or Dutch speaker, fluent in English
  • Bachelor or Master degree
  • Minimum 2 years of recruitment experience (consulting or agency experience is a strong plus)
  • Strong interpersonal skills: listening, communication, service mindset
  • Proactive, autonomous and structured — able to manage priorities efficiently
  • Motivated by challenges and ambitious objectives
  • Interest in or experience with Life Sciences is an advantage
