ALTEN Belgium has a large back office team, which takes care of the daily support in the areas of Recruitment, Finance, HR & Fleet, Talent Development & Trainings, Purchasing & Office, Legal, Communication and IT. The teams consist of skilled and motivated colleagues who value teamwork and a good atmosphere in the department.

Recruitment is one of the main activities in the consulting sector so as a member of this team you will be at the center of the activities working with the business department. As a Talent Acquisition Partner at ALTEN you will support a team of Business Managers in fulfilling vacancies. You will focus on the recruitment of higher educated professionals who will be employed within our organization.

You will find and approach the candidates. In addition, you are responsible of facilitating the whole application process becoming the contact person of the candidate. You ensure that this process runs smoothly and quickly and that all parties involved are kept informed of progress.

Besides the operational part, you are closely involved in all other recruitment related aspects. You can think of the organization of fairs, events, open evenings, but also of maintaining contacts with colleges, universities and study associations. In short, the role of Talent Acquisition Partner at ALTEN contains various challenging and varied components!

The team is located both in Antwerp and in Brussels.

The Finance team plays an important role in accounting for and controlling the financial processes and results of our organization. The team consists of Controllers, Accountants and Sales Administration Officers. Together they are responsible for processing invoices, managing expense notes, preparing financial reports and monitoring administrative processes.

In our Finance department, the challenges range from invoicing, accounts receivable/ payable, to month-end closing, annual accounts, making budgets, reports and dashboards.

The HR team of ALTEN Belgium consists of 7 employees. The team takes care of a complete and up-to-date personnel administration. Team members have a different area of focus: pay-roll, administration or fleet. They are dealing with different essential topics such as sick leave, pay-roll, contract edition, fleet management, pension contracts and regulations for expats and international contracts.

The Communication department within ALTEN focuses on both internal communications for all our employees, as well as labor market communications and marketing (targeting our customers). The team is responsible for creating content, which you can find at our website and social media. As part of the communication department, you are also supporting business in the internal communication. You also organize events, such as our Link & Drink to onboard new colleagues and Knowledge Sharing Sessions when some of our consultants are sharing expertise in specific topics, in addition to various types of events for candidates and clients.

The Purchasing & Office team provides support in various areas within ALTEN. They are responsible for the building management, the interior and all additional facilities. All the offices are equipped with all the comforts to make working from one of our offices as pleasant as possible. As for purchasing tasks, they are managing all the contracts and relationships with new suppliers and our existing providers.

Our legal department is specialized two main domains: commercial law and social law. Our team is taking care of all the legal matters regarding our contacts with clients and our commercial relations as well as regarding the work contracts.

As part of the Talent Development Department you are working with the business managers and the consultants to ensure an efficient and successful follow-up of consultants during their career. Team members are focused on trainings or on the talent development. As a Talent Development Partner, you are planning the career committees and dealing with onboarding, promotions, mobility and the general well-being of our workforce. If you work in the training area, you are responsible of organizing a number of trainings which are relevant for our technical consultants as well as the internal staff.
